Mythic Pibox
We were asked to build a case to hold 48 raspberry pis and a switch into a 3U rack mount case.
Mythic Beasts Ltd. commissioned us to build a case to hold 48 raspberry pis and a switch to power and connect them to the internet.
It included fans to power the pis and a mounting scheme for all the pis.
The Pis were Threaded Onto steel rods.
Then mounted into the folded steel case we designed and built.
A switch was added on top and all the pis were wired up.
The whole thing turned out very satisfactorily, and the install was slightly surreal between 10pm and 4am in the bizzare world of pink noise that is a server room.
